Soul247 - The Seven-Day Feel Good challenge | soul247.com.au

Taking out to focus on simple things in life will help you bring more awareness and stillness in mind. We are so busy in our day-to-day activities that we forget to just stay still and observe our present.
Today I present you a 7-day challenge that will not only help you to bring simple changes in life but help you to be more aware and know about yourself a bit better.
DAY 1: BREATHE, BREATHE and just BREATHEEEEEE
Walk up to your balcony, step out for few minutes and observe your breath. Breathe innnnnn and breathe outtttt……….and do this for exactly seven times.

Make sure you practice deep breathing…after that, do a simple stretch that makes you feel like a super man trying to push all the evil forces out.
DAY 2: DRINK A BIG GLASS OF WATER
When I say “BIG”, it means jumbo. Drink a big glass of water following your day 1 ritual. While you drink water, make sure you drink it slowly and feel the water rushing down your intestines. Most of us just wake up on time to make it to work, but I am sure a minute spent on enjoying your morning water, will not get you fired or miss your train.
Make sure you drink at least 2 liters of water, it’s not that hard. Keep a bottle at work or at school, and keep sipping through out the day.
DAY 3: SMILE AT A STRANGER
A smile a day, keeps the bad day away. Make sure that you smile at that one stranger, whom you feel might be having a bad day. When you smile, you resonate happiness and send out positive vibes this will not only help you to feel instantly better but you will also feel happy about bringing a smile on someone’s face.
DAY 4: DANCE LIKE NO ONE’S WATCHING
C’mon I am sure it’s not that hard! Do that when you are alone. Step in a quiet place, put on your headphones and just dance on your favorite tune. Just that one favorite song you need, and just dance for like few minutes.
I swear the feeling is great and you release those happy hormones.
DAY 5: SEND BLESSINGS
They say “count your blessings”, I say “SEND BLESSINGS”. While you are walking around, bless people silently around you to have a good day, or anything that you feel like. Bless someone saying that “May you have a blissful day” or “God bless you with peace”. Anything whatever you wish to say to them. Cribbing about your day or anything that you are going through will make you feel worse, which will make you perceive even a simple thing as a nuisance. That’s why send positivity to everyone around you and see how your mood changes.
DAY 6: TWO MORE TO GO
Well today, you do something different. By different I mean, go for a walk and sit by yourself on the bench and observe the things happening around you. Appreciate the sky, feel the air and observe the beauty of nature. Trust me, this is a self-applied rule and it really works. We humans are created by nature and therefore a part of it. Appreciate the beauty around you. Being a fan of Deepak Chopra, I have personally applied this challenge and felt a huge change in my awareness.
DAY 7: BEING SPECIAL
The last day of the challenge includes doing something special for “YOU”.
Ever done something just for yourself? Well do something special for yourself, which doesn’t mean that you need to spend money. Personally, I enjoy reading a book, or meditate, just to give myself to recover from a stressful.
Remember, it’s all about taking out time for yourself, being nice to you. Its only you who criticises you, and once when you start taking control and tell yourself that its okay to feel in a certain manner and no one can replace you. Trust me, that day you will truly enjoy the original version of being you.
